Call for Graphic Designer – Educational Materials on Climate, Gender & SRHR

MyLEGACY is looking for a creative graphic designer to develop brochures, leaflets, and infographics that raise awareness on how climate change affects women’s health and safety, especially in relation to SRHR and GBV.

This work supports our “Kesho Njema” Project, promoting gender-responsive climate action across Dar es Salaam.

Key Tasks:
🔹 Create clear, engaging, and culturally relevant designs
🔹 Work with our content team to gather messages
🔹 Produce print-ready and editable materials
🔹 Support visual storytelling for diverse audiences

Call for Consultant – Climate Action Plan Assessment on SRHR & GBV

MyLEGACY is seeking a qualified consultant to assess how well local climate action plans in six communities of Dar es Salaam integrate Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) and Gender-Based Violence (GBV) prevention.

The assessment is part of our “Kesho Njema” Project, which promotes gender-sensitive climate action—addressing how climate change disproportionately affects women and girls.

Key Tasks:
🔹 Review existing plans
🔹 Conduct stakeholder consultations
🔹 Identify gaps and opportunities
🔹 Provide practical recommendations

LEGACY CLUBS SCHOOL COMPETITION 2025

"LEGACY: Building a Better Tomorrow"

MyLEGACY presents the LEGACY CLUBS SCHOOL COMPETITION 2025, a special competition for primary and secondary school students within LEGACY Clubs to promote leadership and awareness on climate justice and creating safe school environments.

Competition Objectives:

✔ Educate students on environmental protection, climate justice, and sustainable resource management.
✔ Raise awareness on respect, gender equality, and preventing school-related gender-based violence (GBV).
✔ Empower students to become changemakers in their communities.

Key Dates:

🔹 Competition Launch: February, 2025
🔹 Project Submission Deadline: April 30, 2025
🔹 Judging Period: May 2025

Consultancy for Development of issue paper on SRGBV

PROJECT: Promoting open strategic dialogues with decision-makers and students to combat sextortion in Schools

TASK: Applications must address all requirements of the Terms of Reference (TOR) and include information/documents requested at Section 8.0. in the TOR.

PURPOSE: Create a shared understanding of SRGBV, evaluate current measures, align efforts with human rights standards, and engage stakeholders in high-level dialogue.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct comprehensive literature review.
  • Prepare analytical paper highlighting key SRGBV issues.
  • Present priority issues to a reference group for discussion.
  • Finalize issue paper, incorporating feedback.

CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS:

  • Advanced degree in gender, development, social work, or a relevant field.
  • Experience in SGBV.
  • Proven ability to deliver results within defined timeframes.
  • Strong English writing and communication skills.
