Promoting Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR)

Empowering Young Minds. Protecting Their Rights. Driving Systemic Change.

At MyLEGACY, we believe that access to accurate, age-appropriate sexual and reproductive health education is not a privilege—it is a right. Our SRHR programme is not just about information; it is a transformational movement that empowers youth, dismantles harmful gender norms, and champions the rights and dignity of every child, especially girls.

We combine education, structural reform, and grassroots mobilization to create safer, more inclusive school environments. By training both students and educators, we equip them with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to make informed decisions, advocate for their rights, and foster cultures of consent, respect, and bodily autonomy.

Menstrual Health & Dignity

Recognizing that menstrual health is central to girls’ education, MyLEGACY has built and upgraded girl-friendly WASH infrastructure in schools to ensure private, safe, and clean menstrual hygiene spaces that reduce absenteeism and restore dignity.

We also integrate practical skills training by teaching students and teachers how to produce reusable sanitary pads, a solution that improves product access, promotes eco-sustainability, and supports economic empowerment and community resilience.
