Aiming for a World that is free from Poverty and Violence

Inclusive Leadership

At MyLEGACY, we trust in the transformative potential of women and youth to drive change in their communities. We empower women and youth to become changemakers in their communities by focusing on education, mentoring, and capacity-building to break down gender and age-related barriers and promote active participation in decision-making.

By working closely with local communities, NGOs, and stakeholders, we advocate for inclusive leadership and gender-responsive policies. Our community-driven projects address the unique needs of women and youth, driving sustainable development, reducing poverty, and expanding access to education, entrepreneurship, and essential services

Economic Empowerment

As our mission states, MyLEGACY is dedicated to equipping women and youth with the skills they need to address socio-economic challenges in their communities by offering training, workshops, and mentoring in entrepreneurship and financial literacy, empowering them to identify and pursue livelihood opportunities.

Through comprehensive skills development, internships, and volunteer programs, we prepare them to excel in their chosen fields. We also facilitate access to grants, networks, and markets, helping to overcome financial obstacles. Our mentorship programs build confidence, encourage innovation, and strengthen resilience, enabling women and youth to contribute to economic growth in their communities.

Women & Children Protection Advocacy

We champion the rights and empowerment of women and children, striving for a world free from poverty, discrimination and violence. We promote gender equality and ensure women have access to education, healthcare, and economic opportunities.

Our collaboration and partnerships with aligned organizations enable us to tackle gender stereotypes, support women’s leadership, and address gender-based violence. For children, we advocate for quality education and safe living and learning environments. Through campaigns and partnerships, we raise awareness and drive meaningful change, working together to build a better, more equitable world.

Our Mission

To equip women and youth with skills to address socio-economic challenges in their communities.

Our Vision

MyLEGACY envisions poverty free communities living dignified lives.

Promoting Sexual & Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR)

At MyLEGACY, we empower youth with accurate SRHR education, challenge harmful norms, and promote consent, respect, and bodily autonomy.
We also improve menstrual health by building girl-friendly WASH facilities and training students and teachers to make reusable pads keeping girls in school with dignity.

Climate Change & Child Protection

Under the Kesho Njema Project, MyLEGACY recognizes that climate change doesn’t only affect the environment—it also increases the risks children face.
Shifts in weather patterns, economic stress, and disrupted community systems can heighten children’s exposure to violence, exploitation, and neglect. Understanding this connection is essential for building safer, more resilient communities.
